Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 21 May 2026

Viona is an adult-only dating app. These standards explain how we prohibit, detect, review, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation risks.

Adult only Prohibited content Enforcement Reporting Contact

1. Viona is adult-only

Viona is not for children or anyone under 18. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, appear in discovery, upload photos, use chat, participate in Blind Date, or buy subscriptions.

If we believe an account belongs to a minor, is attempting to contact minors, or is being used to exploit, groom, impersonate, or endanger a minor, we may restrict or remove the account and preserve records needed for safety or legal reasons.

2. Prohibited child-safety content and conduct

Viona prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, including:

  • Child sexual abuse material, including real, altered, morphed, synthetic, drawn, AI-generated, or attempted CSAM.
  • Sexual solicitation, grooming, extortion, trafficking, exploitation, or sexualized conversation involving minors.
  • Requests to create, obtain, sell, share, threaten to share, or distribute sexual content involving minors.
  • Accounts that claim to be minors, impersonate minors, seek contact with minors, or misrepresent age to evade safety controls.
  • Links, usernames, coded language, off-platform contact attempts, or other behavior intended to facilitate child exploitation.
  • Attempts to evade moderation, reporting, law-enforcement cooperation, or child-safety detection.

3. Detection, review, and enforcement

Viona may use automated systems, moderation providers, reports, blocks, verification signals, image moderation, account review, and human review to detect and respond to child-safety risks.

We may remove content, restrict accounts, ban users, preserve evidence, block re-registration, report to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law, and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement or regulators.

4. How to report child-safety concerns

If you believe a minor is using Viona or that child-safety content or conduct appears on Viona, report it in the app where available or email support@viona.one immediately.

Include enough information for us to identify the account, profile, conversation, image, or behavior. Do not forward, download, copy, screenshot, or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material. Describe what you saw and where you saw it instead.
